Mulled White Wine

If you’re after a warming winter cocktail, might we suggest this delicious mulled white wine?


  • 2 bottles of [yellow tail] Chardonnay
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cloves
  • 4 star anise
  • 5 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 thinly peeled orange rind


  1. Put all ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer over a low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and let it sit for 20 minutes to allow flavours to develop.

  3. When you're ready to serve, reheat the saucepan over a medium heat until warm, then serve immediately.

  4. Garnish with extra orange peel, cinnamon sticks or star anise.
