- 1 bottle of [yellow tail] Shiraz
- 2 cups of water
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 orange, juiced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 6 cloves
- 2 star anise
- Lemon and orange wheel (for garnish)
Place water, sugar, cinnamon, orange and lemon juice, cloves and star anise in a saucepan.
Bring to boil, then return to a simmer and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Add bottle of [yellow tail] Shiraz and heat slowly for 15 minutes.
Strain, pour into glass and garnish.
