  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • Olive oil
  • 2 burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Red onion
  • Blue cheese, thickly sliced

PREPARATION

  1. In a large mixing bowl gently mix together the mince, salt, pepper and Worcester sauce.

  2. Divide the mixture into two, then gently form each half into a patty shape.

  3. Open up the centre of the burger and place a piece of cheese inside. Be careful not to over-fill the burger.

  4. Seal the meat back over the cheese and gently shape the patty into a flattish burger.

  5. Drizzle a little oil over each side of the burger and wipe around to coat evenly.

  6. Place the burgers on a hot, preheated griddle and cook for 10 minutes in total, turning once.

  7. Serve piled up in the burger buns with the salad.
