White Wine Gummies

A fun sweet treat that works perfectly with any [yellow tail] white wine

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of any [yellow tail] white wine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of gelatin powder
  • Red food colouring

Preparation

  1. Place 1 cup of your favourite [yellow tail] wine, 1/2 cup sugar
    and 3 tablespoons of gelatin in a saucepan over medium low
    heat (if you want to maintain the alcohol, make sure to keep
    under 90 degrees/ 194 Fahrenheit).

  2. Whisk for 2-3 minutes or until sugar and gelatin have
    dissolved. Stir in 1 drop of red food colouring.

  3. Using a glass measuring cup with a spout, pour the mixture
    into your mould (we used heart moulds).

  4. Use a spatula to get rid of any excess and ensure all the
    moulds are filled.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 90 minutes.

  6. When gelatin has set, they will easily pop out from the mould.

  7. Store uneaten wine gummies in an airtight container in the
    refrigerator.

  8. Enjoy with your loved ones!
