Cabernet Sauvignon

Pronounced: Cab-err-nay So-vin-yon

"A seamless, easy drinking red"

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world’s most noble grape varieties.

Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its elegance - soft, fruit driven in style and with feathery tannins, this Cabernet offers easy drinking early but will cellar with confidence. Expect cassis, violets, crushed herbs and a long, soft finish with enough concentration and texture to make the wine feel more serious.

Aroma:
Cassis, black forest fruits, eucalypt and hints of violets.
Flavour:
The ultimate Cabernet fruit profile with concentrated mixed berries, mulberry, green herbs and a hint of pepper. A backdrop of oak supports the wine. Serve with pepper crusted scotch fillet, roast vegetables or slow cooked lamb shanks.

The Grape

Cabernet Sauvignon is a deeply coloured, supple textured variety with a prominent but elegant tannin profile.

Goes great with...
